Mr. Chase earned a BS with Distinction from the University of Virginia and a MBA from Harvard University.  His speeches, articles and comments on investing and economic policy have been quoted in Barron’s, Business Week, The Wall Street Journal, Pensions & Investments, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, and The New York Times.  He has appeared on CNBC, The Nightly Business Report (PBS) and Bloomberg.  Derwood is a Chartered Investment Counselor, a member of the Analysts Club (N.Y.C.), the New York and Richmond Societies of Financial Analysts, and the Mont Pelerin Society.  He is President of the Chase Foundation of Virginia, a Trustee of the Reason Foundation and the Fraser Institute, and a former Governor of the Investment Counsel Association of America.

Peter W. Tuz, CFA

Mr. Tuz earned his BA from Ripon College, a MA from the University of Missouri, and a MBA from Tulane University. Peter is a CFA charter holder. Before joining us in 1997 he had 10 years experience as a senior analyst and officer with two NYSE member firms. He is a member of the Richmond & Washington Societies of Financial Analysts.

Peter C. Wood, CFA

Mr. Wood received his BA from Duke University and a MBA from Indiana University. Peter is a CFA charter holder. Before joining us in 1997 he had 10 years experience as a senior security analyst concentrating in technology. He is a member of the New York and Richmond Societies of Financial Analysts.

Brian J. Lazorishak, CFA, CIC, CIPM, CMT

Mr. Lazorishak earned a BS in Psychology and Business Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 1994. Brian joined us in 1997. He serves as a portfolio manager and is our senior quantitative and technical analyst. Brian is a CFA charter holder, a CIPM (Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement) certificate holder, and a Chartered Market Technician. He is a member of the Richmond Society of Financial Analysts.

Jennifer L. King
Senior Vice President

Operations, Chief Compliance Officer, Director & Corporate Secretary

Mrs. King earned her BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia in 1992 and a MBA from James Madison University in 1997.  Jennifer handles numerous administrative functions and manages our operations including supervising our performance measurement, client investment record keeping and reporting.  She also handles client relations related to those functions.  In addition she supervises the maintenance of our performance measurement software.  Prior to joining us, Jennifer was Manager, Marketing Communications at Universal Instruments in Binghamton, New York and GE Fanuc Automation in Charlottesville.  She is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Charlottesville.

Eugene (Ti) R. Hack, Jr.

Fund Client Service & Business Development

Mr. Hack earned his B.S. in Economics from the University of North Carolina and did graduate work in Business Administration at the University of Miami. Ti’s duties include business development and general corporate administration. Prior to joining us he had over 20 years of varied management experience, including production, sales, marketing, finance, and administration.

Robert (Buck) C. Klintworth, CMT

Assistant Portfolio Manager & Quantitative Analyst

Mr. Klintworth received his BS in Mathematics from Westmont College.  Buck assists with portfolio management, quantitative research, technical analysis, and trading functions.  Buck is a Chartered Market Technician.  Prior to joining us in 2004, he worked primarily in accounting.
